6AWG Firewire Installation*:

* If alternator is behind or below the engine, it is advisable to do the installation
of 6AWG firewire at workshops or service centres.

1. Cover the positive clip which is nearer to woven silver grounding strip with
small rubber tub.

2. Remove original positive connection from alternator with spanner or tool.
Please take note that while opening the alternator nut, the tool used should
refrain from getting in contact with any metal parts to prevent getting spark.

3. Connect the firewire positive clip which is further away from woven silver
grounding strip to the alternator and together with original positive
connector and tighten back with spanner or tool. Please take note that while
tightening the alternator nut, the tool used should refrain from getting in
contact with any metal parts to prevent getting spark.

4. Make sure that the firewire positive clip with small rubber tub does not
touch any metal part in the car to create sudden spark.

5. Loosen the negative battery terminal nut to install the woven silver
grounding strip. Remember not to get in contact with battery positive
terminal with woven silver grounding strip to prevent spark and burn to
strip.

6. Loosen the battery positive terminal nut to install firewire positive clip to
terminal. If you install correctly, spark should not have occurred.

7. Use cable ties provided to tidy up the firewire near to battery compartment.

UTR Power Charger Evo series Installation:
1. Find a decent space to stick your UTR Power Charger Evo series box near
battery with the provided double sided tapes.

2. Install UTR Power Charger positive and negative clip to battery terminal
one at a time.

3. If you start with UTR Power Charger positive (red) clip, loosen the battery
positive terminal nut to install positive clip to battery positive terminal
together with firewire positive clip. If you start with UTR Power Charger
negative (black) clip, loosen the battery negative terminal nut to install
negative clip to battery negative terminal together with woven silver
grounding strip. Tighten the battery nut in the battery terminal after that.

4. Install the remaining UTR Power Charger positive/negative clip to their
respective battery terminal. Do not worry as the spark will occur as this is
the last step of completion of UTR Power Charger Evo series installation in
your car.

5. Use cable ties to tidy cables and wirings on UTR Power Charger box &
battery terminal.
